Mumps Case Confirmed on UO Campus

(March 27, 2017) The University Health Center confirmed a case of mumps on the UO campus in the last week. Mumps is a contagious disease caused by a virus, which is spread through coughing, sneezing, or touching contaminated items or surfaces.

If you were not vaccinated for mumps (part of the MMR vaccine) or have not had mumps, you are at risk of infection.

How to Schedule an Appointment

Appointments can be made online through myUOHealth, or by calling 541-346-2770. Students may make an appointment in person, but are not guaranteed a same-day appointment. A nurse is always available to answer any questions or concerns. Click here for directions and parking information.
